Bernafon Viron 9 mini RITE
Bernafon Viron 9 mini RITE hearing aid Review
The new Viron 9 mini RITE hearing aid was introduced in early 2019 and has been a fantastic addition to Bernafon’s product portfolio. Viron 9 is the industry’s first True Environment Processing hearing aid. This hearing aid uses a completely new chip platform that delivers super-fast sound detection and processing so that users can receive more precise information about their environment in real time. It also has a new feedback cancellation system.
Viron 9 mini RITE hearing aids can help with a wide range of hearing levels (from mild to profound) and offer features like Bluetooth connectivity, phone EasyControl-Application and rechargeable options. With the rechargeable option, there is an option to change the device from rechargeable to non-rechargeable. I have found clients appreciate this ability for emergencies like when they forget to charge the hearing aids.
From a design point of view, Viron 9 mini RITE hearing aids look like a more traditional hearing aid that needs freshening up. User controls are also bulky. Many clients like the ‘one program’ approach called DECS technology available in Viron 9 hearing aids.
Like many other brands, Viron 9 family offers iPhone &/or Android Bluetooth connectivity. In conclusion, I would expect great success with the Viron 9 mini RITE hearing aid for the appropriate clients. I would recommend having a discussion with your audiologist to determine if this device is right for you.
